Fifteen years ago, entrepreneur Matt O’Grady hired a web company to develop an online presence for his new company. They recommended a content provider and SEO specialist. He invested thousands of dollars and believed the vendors’ promises about getting his brand out into the marketplace and driving customers to his new website. Their plan sounded amazing!
Hindsight, however, is 20/20. Those companies took his money and he got very little in return except for a disjointed effort which drove frustration, not web traffic.
