1. Try to say “no” to long meetings on Mondays–unless you have no other choice. (There are four other days in the week!)
2. If there are tasks you have to do each week, spread them out so you aren’t slapped in the face with them every Monday morning.
3. Make a plan to grab coffee or lunch with a colleague or friend on Mondays. You deserve a break and you have to eat! If you can’t get away, at least bring something you love to snack on during the afternoon!
4. If all else fails, block out some time–even a 15-minute block–on your calendar for next Monday. Plan to take a walk or close your office door and meditate. Just give yourself a well-deserved break.
